Mike Van Galder

Exhibit opens First Friday, September 2nd 2022 from 5pm-9pm and runs through the month of September.

Mike Van Galder is a native of our lovely city.  He is a proud dad and a messy painter.  His art over the years drifts from busy abstractions to expressionistic portraits.  Wherever his experiments meander, elements of motion, color and intentional looseness are common threads throughout.  

This show, “Almost Always”, is a retrospective of sorts, exploring the various ways that the magic of art has pushed and pulled his works in emotional and fun ways.
